Hello Saturday. Wow, can you believe that we have already reached the last weekend of January. It won’t be much longer until we hear the birds chirping and the flowers blooming. But before we get caught up in our dreams of tomorrow let’s take a moment to focus on this week’s sermon series. Week number four of “When Your Way Isn’t Working” begins looking at results when we disconnect from our way and instead connect with God’s way. Our story this week centers around a tale of two sisters. Joins us this Sunday in-building at 8am or 9:45am or online through our SunRise YouTube channel beginning at 9:45am. On-demand options are, well, always on-demand at whatever time you may choose.
In our pick verse today, John continues recording the song of the great multitude of voices ringing out from Heaven. What is hinted at across the pages of the New Testament becomes a public announcement by the great multitude. The announcement of the wedding of the Lamb is introduced by the command to rejoice and be glad. It is probably beyond our imagination to even picture the grandeur of the wedding between Christ and His bride the church. That which the devil had spent his entire existence trying to prevent is now being readied without further haste. The sufferings of the saints only add to the splendor of this event blessed by and from the throne of Heaven.
