Monday – January 29th – Revelation 19:9 -----
19:9) Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' " And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of God."
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
GOD DESERVES TO BE SERVED WITH ALL THE ENERGY OF WHICH WE ARE CAPABLE.*
Good Monday to you! In just a few days, Thursday February 1st, registration for SunRise sponsored Upward Soccer begins. Upward Soccer is a Christian based noncompetitive program for children kindergarten through sixth grade, teaching basic skills and sportsmanship. Depending on their age group, practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Games will be held on Sat. mornings on the SunRise soccer fields. At each practice and game short devotions (scripture or a word) will be provided and how it relates to everyday life. To sign-up go to the SunRise “events” page at either the app or website and click on the Upward Soccer picture.
In our pick verse today, John is given instructions by the angel guiding him in this portion of the vision. The wedding supper of the Lamb is not “a pie in the sky” thing to be observed, but something the readers must be present for and prepare themselves for with a life of obedience to God. Blessed are those who are invited, literally “called”, to be participants in this great moment in Heaven. Interestingly, on one hand the church is the bride of the Lamb while at the same time, individual Christians are the special guests invited to participate in the wedding supper. Rich, yet flexible is the symbolism found in John’s revelation.
Blessings

Tuesday – January 30th – Revelation 19:10
