Tuesday – January 30th – Revelation 19:10 -----
19:10) And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
NEVER LOOK BACK UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO THAT WAY.*
Happy Tuesday to you. If you are looking for a great opportunity to serve and make new connections, then look no further than this Saturday (2/3) and our monthly commitment at The Sharing Shed. We have two volunteer spots left for this month and they could be yours by going to the SunRise events page on either the website or app. Serving time is from 9am -11am. Volunteers can help with sorting donations, assisting Sharing Shed clients, or loading vehicles. Also, the Sharing Shed is a great place if you have houseware or furniture items to donate. You can contact them directly for drop-off times at 636-439-6889. Thanks for supporting this valuable ministry to our local community.
In our pick verse today, John continues his observation of the wedding banquet in Heaven while conversing with his current angel guide. Although the angelic interpreter was “just” an angel, and in his own words he is not worthy of John’s worship, his message must be accepted as the true words of God. This interaction is a great reminder about the authority of every word of Scripture. If the message is authorized by God, then the messenger’s word – whether spoken or written by a prophet, apostle, or angel – is the same as if God Himself spoke. When God speaks it is always true. Sad and unfortunate for those in the last days that chose not to believe in the truth of God’s Holy Word.
Blessings
