Monday – February 8th – Ephesians 6:21-24

6:21 But that you also may know my affairs and how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you;
22 whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may comfort your hearts.
23 Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
    JESUS KNOWS WE MUST COME APART AND REST AWHILE OR ELSE WE MAY JUST PLAIN COME APART.*

Today we begin a new work week in our dual role as a follower Jesus and a worker in the Kingdom of Heaven. Mondays always arrive with unlimited new possibilities and the opportunity to start with a fresh perspective on life. Enjoy the blessings today brings and be a blessing to others this week.

We close out the book of Ephesians today with Paul’s final words of encouragement as he ties up a few loose ends for the believers in this first century Christian community. Paul had sent Tychius to carry this letter to the Ephesians, as well as a letter to the believers in Colosse, and to give a full report on Paul’s health and present condition. Even through sometime using harsh and direct words within this letter, Paul still shared a connection and deep sense of belonging with the Ephesian Christians.  Paul’s focus on keeping every believer firmly connected to Jesus was more important than softening his words for the sake of feelings. After all these centuries, the Bible is still available to us today as God’s modern-day instructions for relationship, faith development, and armor for certain to happen spiritual warfare.

Blessings
