Friday – March 5th – Philippians 2:22-23   ----

2:22 But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel.
23 Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it goes with me.
24 But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.
Friday Daily Walk Bible Inspirational thought:

We have joyously arrived at another Friday. The week is almost complete, and the weekend is fast approaching. We are about 1/3 of our way to the celebration of Easter. In the tradition of Lent what have you committed to do this year to move yourself closer in relationship to God? Here is an option for a 15-minute spiritual growth opportunity this weekend. Following the online worship services jump over to our zoom fellowship and discussion group – the link will be posted in the comment area. If you attend either of the inbuilding worship services join us after worship time for a similar 15-minute gathering in rooms 203 or 204, now named the Den and the Lounge.

In our pick verses today, Paul continues to promote the arrival of Timothy as his personal representative to the church in Philippi. Paul was waiting in Rome for his impending appearance before the court of Caesar on charges of creating a rebellion against the throne. His ultimate desire is to have the opportunity to share the Good News of the Gospel to the highest ranking official in the Roman world. He is torn between this hope to influence the leader of the empire and his heart who is with the believers in Philippi. Paul understands the responsibility of making decisions concerning our actions is best left to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In Paul’s situation he has poured time and training into Timothy (and others) so that the Kingdom work may be multiplied outside of his own ability. Who might you be shepherding as a faithful follower of Jesus?
