The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
LIKE A DELICATE SEISMOGRAPH, HOSEA’S SENSITIVE SOUL RECORDED THE HIDDEN AND SECRET RUMBLINGS OF DIVINE JUDGMENT.*

Welcome to Wednesday and the first day of September. Mid-week always brings an opportunity to breath a sigh of relief that half the week is already behind us. In SunRise life it means we are busy getting ready for online worship taping and finalizing plans for weekend worship. Today also signals a big push to gather folks into small groups for the church-wide study beginning next week. Our emphasis will be on praying for an “Awakening” of God’s spirit in our lives and in the church that will lead to a revival of heart, soul, mind, and strength. Please consider joining an in-person group or join my online group on Thursday evenings. Access the sign-up page at www.sunrisefamily.org/study

In our pick verses today, we continue to follow Paul’s focus on making prayer a priority in our lives. God is pleased when we pray for all people and for all human leaders. God is the author of our salvation and for all who believe. God’s desire is for all people to be saved through faith in Jesus. These words reflect the biblical teachings that Jesus died for all humanity. Our greatest decision in life is where we align with Jesus. Every human has the opportunity to decide for themselves if the believe in and follow Jesus, or if they reject his offer of salvation by grace. Our eternal destiny is determined by our response. Our task as fully committed followers of Jesus is to explain the difference so others can make an informed decision.

Blessings
