Thursday – May 12th – Hebrews 13:18-19     -----

13:18) Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.
19 But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
ONLY WHEN WE PLACE OURSELVES IN GOD’S HANDS CAN WE BRING GLORY TO HIM AND GROWTH TO OURSELVES.*

Happy Thursday to you! Have you ever had one of those days when you realize you have forgot to do something very important? Well, I have. It is probably no surprise that I typically write this blog the day before and then post it to the website. The morning of I will go and add it to the Facebook page and send out the email simply because there is not a reliable option to schedule it ahead of time. Imagine my surprise when I realized there was nothing to post this morning because I had forgotten to write yesterday. I can easily blame in on a crazy busy schedule, multiple distraction throughout the day, or just old-fashion forgetfulness.  But the reality is it escaped my mind and failed to show up on my “to-do” list. Some of you would never be the wiser because you are a well after 6:30am reader of this blog, but for those early raisers, I apologize. Which also gives me the opportunity to forewarn you that beginning next Friday (5/20) I will be taking a break from the blog through the following Friday. The blog will resume on Saturday (5/28). Thanks for your continued support and reading this daily blog.

In our pick verses today, the author begins the wrap-up of this chapter and the entire book of Hebrews. As in all things prayer becomes the most important resource for all believers. These verses remind us that even leaders and those who are at the front lines of spiritual warfare are in great need of daily prayer support. Maybe a few extra prayers yesterday would have helped me remember to write this blog on time. I would encourage you today to make a list of folks you typically don’t pray for – family, friends, leaders, and even those who you might not see eye to eye with – and lift them up in prayers throughout today and the rest of this week.

Blessings
