5:7) Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
REVIVAL IS A NEW BEGINNING OF OBEDIENCE TO GOD.*

Happy Wednesday to you! Here is a quick PSA reminder that the quarterly SunRise blood drive is scheduled for next Monday November 7th. There are still a handful of openings beginning at 5:30pm through 7pm for whole blood donations. And six double red-cell donation spots open between 4pm and 6:30pm. To register to give, go to sunrisefamily.org/events or to the events page on the SunRise App. What a great way to express your generosity through giving the gift of life.

In our pick verse today, Peter begins to wrap up this first letter by adding in some stern warnings about how the devil works to disrupt our relationship with God. Peter’s words are timeless and are as important today as they were nearly two-thousands years ago. When we attempt to carry our worries, stresses, and daily struggles by our own strength, we are stating that we have not yet put our full trust in God’s word, God’s way, God’s will, or God’s when. It takes humility on our part to believe that God cares, to admit to our own need, and then to let others in God’s family help us. To let God, carry our anxieties requires trust in God’s promises and patience as wait. We can not allow the circumstances of our life to dictate our living. Instead, we are to submit ourselves to God who is greater than any of life’s circumstances.

Blessings
