Happy Tuesday to you! Here is your Tuesday reminder about the Shawn Reynolds comedy night on Saturday. Shawn is a well-known Christian comedian who has opened for Tim Hawkins and has appeared on the Mike Huckabee show. Shawn has a powerful testimony and is a strong advocate on behalf of Stand-Up For Adoption. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the SunRise App or Website under the “events” section. Show starts at 7pm on Saturday March 18th.

In our pick verse for today we are reading Jude’s introduction to this letter. Jude’s self-identification and  spiritual relationship as a “bondservant” of Jesus was more important to him than his physical relationship as a half-brother of Jesus. Both Jude and his brother James, chose not to use their connections as the half-brothers of Jesus to gain them personal power or prominence.  Jude is also known as Judas in Mark 6:3. Jude’s reminds his readers that they had been called by God to be His people. They are to be sanctified, or made Holy, and to be set apart for God’s service. Because of their belief in Jesus, they were able to live victoriously regardless of their life’s circumstances. We live with this same promise as current day followers of Jesus.

Blessings
