Wednesday – March 15th – Jude 1:2     -----

1:2) Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
KEEP YOUR HEART RIGHT, EVEN WHEN IT IS SORELY WOUNDED.*

Hello Wednesday! Our inspirational thought for today reminds me of the lead question asked each week in our band meeting “how is it with your soul?”. A couple of years ago I realized that the question was not about “how things were going”, but how was my relationship with God. If you live any amount of life, you are fully aware that life can be filled with ups and downs, sometimes extreme and sometimes mere bumps in the road. What I have discovered is that the things in life should not affect my relationship with God. God is true, faithful, and trustworthy at all times, and as a result my soul should be good regardless of my situation. So, the question of the day should be “how is it with your soul?”.

In our pick verse today, Jude uses the Christian trifecta of greetings to the readers of his letter. Albeit short and simply stated there is within a powerful statement on the nature of God. Mercy is God’s undeserved act of forgiveness offered to us through the blood of Jesus. Peace is the well-being God gives us when we experience His forgiveness. God’s unconditional and unmatched love for us is demonstrated for us in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. And the great thing is that God’s mercy, love, and peace is given in abundance over and over again, and to each new generation of believers.

Blessings
