Saturday – March 25th – Jude 1:12-13     -----
1:12) These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;
13) raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:

      Welcome to Saturday! Yes, the last Saturday of March has arrived for our enjoyment. And we have arrived at the fifth weekend in the season of Lent. Our current series – Truth Be Told – seeks to bring us closer to the truth of God that is only found in scripture. This Sunday we will work our way through the parable of the Good Samaritan, which Jesus uses to answer the age old question “who is my neighbor”. Join us in-building at either 8am or 9:45am. Online live-streaming through the SunRise Facebook page, website, SunRise app or SunRise YouTube channel begins at 9:45am. On-demand options can be found on the SunRise YouTube channel beginning at 10:45am. And while you are hanging out on YouTube, be sure and hit the “subscribe” button to officially follow SunRise Church.

     In our pick verses today, Jude pulls no punches in comparing the false teachers to all kinds of worldly dangers. In swift succession Jude denounces these false prophets as vile interrupters in the pre-communion feasts, dangerous as “hidden reefs” in shallow water, and as leaders who serve only themselves. They are disillusioning as empty rain clouds, as useless as trees without fruit, and as filthy as foaming seawater. As Shooting starts soon pass into darkness, these false teachers will soon pass into the darkness of eternal separation from God because of their actions and their teachings. May we choose to stay on the path that leads to righteousness and life eternal in Heaven.
