Tuesday – March 28th – Jude 1:17-19     -----

1:17) But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:
18) how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.
19) These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THERE ARE TIMES WHEN GOD ASKS NOTHING OF HIS CHILDREN EXCEPT SILENCE, PATIENCE, AND TEARS.*

Hello Tuesday! Hey friends, just a quick reminder that we are still encouraging folks to sign-up for our inaugural meeting of the “Partnering With Your Parents Support Group” that will meet this Thursday evening at 6:30pm. This group is being formed to help those who might be assisting their aging parents in navigating the multitude of decisions facing our senior population. We certainly will welcome those with on-the-ground experience, as well as those who are taking their first steps in this large, vast, and confusing journey. You can pre-register on the SunRise events page (website or app), or be a walk-in on Thursday evening.

In our pick verse for today Jude returns his attention and thoughts back to the audience of his “beloved” people. They should not be surprised at the appearance in the church of those who mock the gospel and live ungodly lives. There persons should be expected, in Jude’s time and in ours, because the apostles themselves had warned that such enemies of God would come against the church. Sensual worldly people put their own selfish interests first and then create division within the church because they do not have the Spirit of God within them. Their relationship with Jesus is at best lip-service with no solid foundation of faith, trust, accountability, or obedience.

Blessings
   Pastor Jim
