Good Thursday to you! We are excited to announce a special occasion that aligns perfectly with the values of SunRise Church. On November 13th, people around the globe will come together to celebrate and promote kindness. It's a day dedicated to fostering compassion, empathy, and understanding, values that resonate deeply within our own church community. So, we invite you to join us in commemorating World Kindness Day Together with meaningful acts of kindness, both within our church family and extending out beyond the shadows of our mailboxes. Here are a few ways you can participate on November 13th: 1) Pray for Kindness: Pray with your family for kindness to flourish in our hearts, homes, and community. 2) Blessing Cards: Pick up some blessing cards before or after each worship service so that you can be a blessing to someone else out in the community in a drive-thru, a gas station, restaurant or coffee house or any other place simply by paying for them.
In our pick verse today, the “song of the Lamb” concludes with three reasons for bringing glory only to the name of the Lord God Almighty. First, God alone is holy above all else. The word used in the original text is translated “perfect moral purity. Second, all nations will come and worship before God. The Antichrist monster attempted to steal worship due God but was destined to fail in the end. There is coming a time when all nations will give God the glory that only He deserves. Third, God’s righteous acts have been revealed before all eyes. God’s deeds, in opposition to the works of the Antichrist, are on display from the beginning of time to the last ticks of the world’s clock. And every deed is pure, right, and holy.
