Friday – November 10th – Revelation 15:5     -----

15:5) After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
ONLY THE WILLINGNESS TO SUFFER CAN REDEEM SUFFERING.*

Welcome to Friday! As we quickly approach the celebration of Thanksgiving (less than 2 weeks) I want to share with you the opportunity to help folks with an early thanksgiving blessing. Our Food-4-Hope food pantry is nearing dangerously low levels. Please consider helping fill the shelves in the coming weeks. Our current “big” needs include hamburger helper, apple sauce, pasta, pasta sauce, rice/pasta sides, and syrup. You can bring these items to SunRise or have them drop shipped right to our front door. We typically send out 30-40 full grocery bags to the local schools each week. Your generosity can make a huge difference in the lives of folks within the shadow of our SunRise steeple.

In our pick verse today, John’s attention shifts from the choir of the saints to the action now commencing around the outer parts of the temple of God in Heaven. This new vison for John provides him the unique opportunity to see inside the Temple and as such gives it the name “the tabernacle of the Testimony. This title is tied back to the days of Hebrews wandering in the wilderness and refers to the tablets of the covenant (ten commandments) Moses brought down from Mount Sinai. God uses this connection to the Old Testament to remind John’s readers that His final works have been precisely planned from the beginning of time. God does nothing out of reaction to our actions, but everything out of his perfect planning and ultimate will for humanity.

Blessings
