Wednesday – November 15th – Revelation 16:1     -----
16:1) Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:

Hello Wednesday! Another great inspirational thought for us to consider on this mid-week check in. Going hand-in-hand with our current series on spiritual warfare, today’s thought reminds us that when we let even the tiniest bit of sin into our lives, we have opened the door for it to take root and grow. Just like a tiny splinter that finds its way into our finger, if left unattended it will eventually become infected, fester up and could even cause part of the finger to be surgically removed. A shortened digit sure seems like an extreme result no one would want to willing sign up for. The same is true when we fail to quickly root out the first appearance of sin in our lives. Yes, unaddressed sin will always lead to our ruin.

In our pick verse today, John begins recording this third set of judgements coming from God. With a sounding of a mighty voice coming from the Temple of God in Heaven, the seven angels with the seven bowls are dispatched to carry out their individual tasks upon the earth. It certainly goes without say that this final command is given directly by the voice of God as His way of taking vengeance against His enemies. Interestingly, the contents of the seven bowls of judgement are very similar to God’s plagues poured out on Egypt in the days of Moses.
