Wednesday – November 29th – Revelation 16:15     -----

16:15) "Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame."

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
WORRY AND WORSHIP ARE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.*

Welcome to Wednesday!  Here is our mid-week SunRise mission announcement. Donations are still needed for The Christmas Depot outreach on Saturday December 9th. The greatest needs are for the finishing touches for the presents – gift bags of all sizes, multi color tissue packing paper, multi packs of gift tags, tape, and $50 grocery gift cards. You can find all the exact needs by going to the SunRise events page (accessible through either the website or app) and click on the “sign-up” link on the Christmas Depot donations graphic. Thank you for helping make Christmas available to all children in the shadow of our steeple.

In our pick verse today, John records the words of Jesus as the troops of evil begin assembling for the final world’s battle. As this interlude in worldly actions, Jesus speaks directly for the first time since He summoned John to begin recording the second portion of His vision in chapter four. None of the events, none of the time indicators, none of the persons described in John’s vision up to this moment are qualified to call the newly converted Christians on earth the arrival of the day of the Lord. Enter Jesus, the savior of the world, God who walked in flesh, who suffered death for our sins, and was raised from dead so that one day we too will be raised from our graves. When such end-time events begin unfolding, Christians are not to be anxious or panic. They are to be the ones, Jesus instructs, to stay awake as a picture of moral and spiritual preparedness.

Blessings
