Saturday – December 2nd – Revelation 16:18     -----

16:18) And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THE MORE YOU PRAY, THE MORE YOU WILL BECOME CONVINCED OF ITS POWER.*

Hello Saturday! The first weekend of December has arrived. Tomorrow is also the first Sunday in Advent and with it a new sermon series – “Embrace The Chaos”. Amidst the twinkling lights and joyful carols, let's not forget the beautiful mess that surrounded the very first Christmas. Come as you are, with all your imperfections and uncertainties. This Advent season let's celebrate the journey to the birth of Christ by embracing the beautiful messiness of life.
In-building worship is Sunday at 8am and 9:45am. Online worship begins at 9:45am Sunday.

In our pick verse today, John continues to record the effects of the seventh bowl of wrath being poured out on the earth’s air supply. This is the fifth and last occurrence of an earthquake in the book of Revelation. This particular earthquake was directly centered upon the earth and was way far off any Richter scale measurement. This is the final shaking of nature from which there is to be no recovery, no do-overs, no second chances. Prophesied by the Old Testament prophet Haggai and quoted the Epistles to the Hebrews, this quake of all quakes would be God’s final act of condemnation upon the earth. Que the guy with the sign because without doubt the end is near.

Blessings
   Pastor Jim
