Saturday – March 2nd – Revelation 20:9 -----
20:9) And I saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded God’s people and the beloved city. But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them.
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THERE IS NO BIBLICAL BASIS FOR BELIEVING THERE IS ANY SUCH THING AS A LITTLE SIN.*
Hello Saturday! First weekend in the month of March and what a beautiful way to start the official march toward spring. Tomorrow is the third Sunday in Lent and the third installment in our current series “A Jesus Shaped Heart”. In our exploration of the attributes and characteristics of Jesus we will add to our list “The Relationships Of Jesus”. How did Jesus define what went into a great relationship and how does His divine example compare to ours? Join us at SunRise for worship at 8am or 9:45am. Livestream begins at 9:45am with on demand options immediately following the conclusion of the livestream.
In our pick verse today, John continues to record what he is viewing as the devil prepares for a battle against God’s forces of good. This final battle is worldwide and encompasses a huge hostile global force – a number like the sand of the seashore. This battle scene begins with the appearance that the followers of Jesus are surrounded by the devil’s followers. I am certain the devil is convinced that victory is in his hands. When suddenly this battle turns out to be as much a nonbattle as the one recorded in chapter nineteen. Without warning, before a shot was fired, God’s reigned fire down from Heaven consuming the forces of evil. Before it even began the battle was over. God was victorious!
Blessings
