Tuesday – March 12th – Revelation 20:3    -----

20:3) I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE AREN’T SO BAD MUST NEVER HAVE BEEN PARENTS.*

Good Tuesday to you! Let’s take a slightly different direction this morning as we talk about opportunities at SunRise. Instead of promoting an event today, I would like you to consider how you might support SunRise with one of the most valuable things in your possession – your time. SunRise has a plethora of serving opportunities that help us be able to the church God has called us to be to our local community. Accessible through either the website or app, you can locate the “volunteer” tab that lists some of our most important options. In addition to the mission opportunities there are volunteer spots in Family Ministry, Meal Ministry, and Hospitality. Thanks for considering how your time can be a blessing to others.

In our pick verse today, John records a third and final voice from the throne of God announcing the reordering of eternity. In this verse God sets in motion what has been His ultimate will from the very beginning of creation. Reminiscent of when God’s presence dwelt among the wandering Israelites in the desert, He know makes His permanent home with those whose names were written in the Lambs Book of Life. This is the fulfilment of both God’s promise for humanity and the purpose of our creation. Genesis 1 is clear that we were created for relationship with God. Remember the idyllic picture of God strolling in the cool of the evening with Adam and Eve. Humanities sin-filled rebellion temporarily disrupted this perfect relationship. In this verse we celebrate what was once lost has now been found.

Blessings
