It’s been a while since we have put out a financial focus and I wanted to share some facts and figures with you all now that we have closed the first couple months of 2025.
It’s been a while since we have put out a financial focus and I wanted to share some facts and figures with you all now that we have closed the first couple months of 2025.
- We celebrated the end of 2024 with positive net income. The biggest driver of this was of course your generosity, and particularly around the “Fresh Start” capital campaign that allowed us to make the final payment from our original mortgage years early.
- The budgeted goal for general offering in 2024 was $750,000 and the final amount collected was $760,961.
- We increased the 2025 budget goal for general offering by 5% to $787,500 with all that increase going directly toward deepening our commitment to local, national, and international missions.
- Through the end of February, the general offering has increased by 0% over the same timeframe last year. We are still committed to fully funding the expansion of missions at SunRise and are confident that the general offering goal will be met.
While 2025 isn’t starting off with a financial windfall, there are still many wonderful things that are happening in the life of our church. The mission groups are helping people at an astonishing rate, our family ministry is growing, the new 11a service is still gaining traction, and we are seeing new faces in worship every week.
