Donations

Objective

Food for Hope and More’s objective is to provide middle school and high school youth with food and personal essentials to take home each evening, during holiday breaks and summer via a normal looking backpack to be able to provide a quick and easy meal for themselves and their families.
Food for Hope and More is currently run by volunteers and is led by Andrea Filla. Each school/organization has a volunteer assigned to it as the liaison between Andrea and the individual schools. This volunteer communicates with the school to determine their current needs and relays those needs back to Andrea. The volunteer also coordinates delivery of the food to the schools each month. Food for Hope and More is currently supporting schools in St. Charles County, Warren County, St. Louis County, and St. Louis City.

In order to continue to expand, new volunteers need to be identified and assigned to the new schools.  If you are interested in joining the Food for Hope ministry as a volunteer, please contact info@sunrisefamily.org or fill out a Connect Card in the black book during a weekend worship service
