6:14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Good Tuesday to you on this Groundhog Day. Not sure what our furry friend will predict but the long-range forecast has little if any snow over the next two weeks. If that is the case, then two of the six weeks of winter will be white-less. Here is todays inspirational thought form the Daily Walk Bible:

Today Paul begins to add the pieces of that are available to believers in their spiritual battle with the evil one. The first two pieces of the armor of God are truth and righteousness. The Christian solider must first put on the unchanging and non-negotiable truth, which is a firm commitment to the revealed word of God. When we seek righteousness, it fuels our desire to do God’s will for every aspect of our lives. A soldier’s breastplate was designed to provide the ultimate protection of their vital organs. A lifestyle of righteousness will protect us from giving into the temptations of the devil.
