Wednesday – March 17th – Philippians 3:16 ----
3:16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for Wednesday.
NO ONE SO THOROUGHLY APPRECIATES THE VALUE OF CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AS THE ONE WHO IS GIVING IT.*
Good Wednesday to you! With our regular mid-week check in I hope you have been on the receiving end of blessings, and that you have had opportunity to be on the giving end of blessings to others. Keep up the great Kingdom work through your actions, words, and witness.
In our pick verse for today Paul continues to encourage the Philippian believers in how to best live a life steeped in faith and unity. Paul is well aware that ever person is different in who they are and the circumstances of their individual lives. Each believer comes from a unique background, has developed their own perspectives on life, and will have different views on things of the world and even things within theology. Paul was also aware that Christians have different levels of spiritual understanding and maturity. We should not be proud of our spiritual achievements as a determent to another’s spiritual journey. Likewise, we must not allow ourselves to fall below the spiritual level we have already attained. Paul knew and taught the importance of discovering common ground within the body of believers. One of the greatest needs in Christianity today is to focus on our common ground beliefs so that we remain effective in populating the Kingdom of Heaven.
