Thursday – November 11th – 2 Timothy 4:8 -----
4:8) Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
WE CONQUER NOT IN ANY BRILLIANT FASHION— WE CONQUER BY CONTINUING.*
Happy Thursday and happy Veterans Day to all those who have served in our nation’s military. You folks are a true blessing and an inspiration to all of us. Friends if you see a veteran today – give your thanks, show your appreciation, even buy their meal. Whatever you do today pales in comparison to what that person has done for you.
In our pick verse today, Paul concludes his teaching on standing firm in our faith in Jesus. He knows that when is earthly life is complete there is a victory parade waiting for him in Heaven. One that was won for him, not by his own power but through the life death and resurrection of Jesus. Friends, we have the same victory parade waiting for us when we arrive in Heaven if we have claimed Jesus as our savior. Give thanks today for what Jesus has done for us and our salvation.
Blessings
