Saturday – March 18th – Jude 1:5     -----

1:5) But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
PATIENCE IS ACCEPTING A DIFFICULT SITUATION WITHOUT GIVING GOD A DEADLINE FOR REMOVING IT.*

Yes, it is Saturday, and my bold prediction that this is the last below freezing Saturday for this season. This weekend ushers in the fourth Sunday in the season of Lent and the fourth installment of our series “Truth Be Told”. We are focusing on the parables of Jesus to discern real and relevant truth for our lives today. This week we will explore the message in the parable of the Early and Late Workers. If you have ever used the phrase “its not fair”, then this is your opportunity to experience God’s unconditional love regardless of our circumstances or our perspective. Looking forward to worshiping with you this weekend.

In our pick verses for today Jude begins his first teaching focused on how God holds us accountable. In this verse Jude is reminding his readers of the historical truths which they had heard many times before. No one who disobeys God is exempt from His judgement. Even His own chosen people whom He saved out of the land of Egypt were destroyed because they did not believe that He could successfully take them into the land of Canaan. What truths has God given to you that you are reluctant to accept or even willing to  reject?

Blessings
