The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THE MORE HOT ARGUMENTS YOU WIN, THE FEWER WARM FRIENDS YOU’LL HAVE.*

Hello Monday! Today is the first day of spring. How exciting to know that this season will be ushering in the beginnings of grass growing, tree budding, garden planting, flower blooming, bats cracking, gloves popping, starter pistols firing, and bicycle tires spinning. You get the idea - today marks the opportunities to move from the indoor hibernation of wintertime and out into the great outdoors of spring. What a joy to experience the beauty of God’s creation. How will you spend your spring this year?

Our pick verse today is a continuation of the thoughts Jude introduced in verse six. The false prophets who were infecting the early church we trying to lead Jude’s readers into the same type of immorality for which Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God. Jude expands on the events that consumed Sodom and Gomorrah to include the towns of Admah and Zeboiim. False teachers of every generation capitalize on the base desires of our sinful human nature to tempt us into believing that we can, without repercussions, rewrite the words of scripture to fit our preferred life decisions. The false teachers of Jude’s day would receive the wrath of God for leading others down a path of unrighteousness. Sadly, those who followed these false teachers will suffer the same fate of those drawing them away from God.

Blessings
