1:24) Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,

The Daily Walk Bible inspiration thought for today:
WISE MEN TALK BECAUSE THEY HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY; FOOLS, BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING.*

Good Saturday to you! Enjoy this first day of April and may you be nobody’s fool today. Tomorrow is the final Sunday in the season of Lent. In our series Truth Be Told, the words Jesus share with us is the parable of the prodigal son. This is one of the most beloved of all parables, probably because if we are honest, this is the story of our life before meeting Jesus. God’s grace is unexpected and undeserved, yet He continually reaches out to us with unconditional love and forgiveness. If you know someone who has yet to say “yes” to God’s invitation of salvation, then this would be a great week for them to experience the story of forgiveness and celebration. In-building times are 8am and 9:45am. Online worship is live at 9:45 and then available on-demand as soon as 10:45am.

Our pick verses for today are Jude’s concluding words for this letter. In light of the danger facing the Christians of this letter, this magnificent doxology is a beautiful closing promise of encouragement. God alone is able to keep us from stumbling into sin. He alone is able to present us faultless at Christ’s return. Therefore, to Him belongs praise both now and forever. The big take away from these closing words is that when we think we are left alone to deal with temptation, we need to remember that God’s got our back. The Holy Spirit can, will, and does provide all the resistance we need to send the devil packing. Our part is to allow the Holy Spirit room to operate.

Blessings
