The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
A PERSON BECOMES WISE BY OBSERVING WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HE OR SHE ISN’T.*

Happy Thursday to you! Easter Sunday is just around the corner and for those considering worshipping at SunRise this year we have added an 11am service to the current 8am & 9:45am schedule. If you have the flexibility to attend the 11am service, you would certainly help us out by making more seats available at the 9:45am time. Same great music and same Easter message. The 9:45am will be live-streamed and then available on-demand immediately following the completion of the service. Looking forward to a great empty tomb worship experience with you!

Our pick verse today is the second of a three-part welcome sentence from John to the seven churches in Asia. John states that Jesus’, through His obedient life and death, became the perfect and faithful witness to all suffering Christians, then and forever in the future. At His resurrection, Jesus became the firstborn from the dead which laid the foundation to God’s promise of our own resurrection at the end of the ages. When Jesus ascended, He became ruler over the kings of the world and all that exists. His complete power and absolute rule will be made plain to all when He returns at the end of the ages. As disciples, we have this perfect promise of God to give us courage for each day.

Blessings
  Pastor Jim
