Saturday – April 8th – Revelation 1:7     -----

1:7) Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THOUGH YOU MAY ASK GOD TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOU, HE GENERALLY WANTS TO DO SOMETHING IN YOU.*

Hello to you Saturday! Today’s inspirational thought fits in perfectly with our celebration of the empty tomb tomorrow. I agree that most of the time I find myself busy asking God “for” something – items on my want list, financial stability, professional success, and health better than my years. But then I realize that God is more interested in changing my attitude and filling my heart than satisfying by demands. Today, we straddle the in-between, the time that bridges the sadness of Good Friday and the joy of Easter Sunday. The in-between is the perfect place for the devil to distract us from our concentration on God. Keep your eyes focused on what God is already doing in you and not what you want God to do for you.

In our pick verse today, John is begins proving the source and the power that each of the seven letters will carry to these selected churches. John is adamant that Jesus will soon be returning with clouds of divine glory and power (Daniel 7:13). When the people of the earth see Jesus’ return, they will mourn because they will only then realize what they did when they rejected Him and ultimately rejected God’s unconditional love for them. Our greatest words of witness is that folks need to be reassured God’s grace is a gift and is not overruled by the resume of our past life.

Blessings
