Welcome to Monday. As we start this new week and this new month, we usher in a handful of busy weeks here at SunRise. This coming Saturday is filled with a multitude of options and opportunities. First up is the Family Ministry Yard Sale that is held in conjunction with the Twin Chimneys subdivision yard sale. Because of the many other Saturday activities at the church the sale will be held on the south side of the property along Coach Line Drive. **There will no access to the yard sale from the church parking lots because of the other activities happening. Parking to shop at the sale will be on Coach Line Drive. The sale officially starts at 7am on Saturday.
In our pick verse today, Jesus gives the believers at Smyrna his final words of encouragement that requires them to intently listen to the nudging of the Holy Spirit for right discernment. We are overcomers of this world because we have been freed from sin and death by the blood of the Lamb. We are to be focused on remaining obedient to God’s word, will, way, and when even if it means physical death. But believers are free from the worry of spiritual death, which is the condemnation to hell, because we have remained faithful to Jesus.
