Monday – May 8th – Revelation 2:19 ------
2:19) “I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things.
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
INJUSTICE ANYWHERE IS A THREAT TO JUSTICE EVERYWHERE.*
Happy Monday to you! With our feet now firmly planted in the month of May, and for most of us a calendar that is filled with lots spring type activities, I want to let you get one more on your schedule - our SunRise Night of Worship on the last day of this month. Matthew 19:26 reminds us that with God anything is possible. So, if you have been praying for a victory in your life or for someone that you know, join us for an extended time of worship as we press into the presence of God during our Night of Worship on Wednesday May 31st @ 6:30pm. No sign-ups required just show up to worship.
In our pick verse today, Jesus continues His pattern of greeting each church with what He has observed that deserves His divine commendation. For the church believers in Thyatira, Jesus celebrates their unfailing love, their service to others, their growing faith, and their patience that is greater than it first was when the became Christians. If Christianity was graded by a checklist of things “to do”, this would be a great list for us to work from in our daily life. These are the marks that differentiate a stagnate believer from a growing believer. Would Jesus be able to look at the activities of your life and be able to commend you for your hard work in spiritual growth?
Blessings
