Tuesday – May 30th – Revelation 3:18     -----
3:18) I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THE GREATNESS OF THE PROMISER ENHANCES THE GREATNESS OF THE PROMISES.*

Hello to Tuesday and Hello to you! Here is an important reminder for the Night of Worship happening tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at SunRise at 6:30pm. This will be a time of prayer, a short message, and lots of worship music. What a great way to start off your season of summer. This is a free event open to the community so please invite family, friends, co-workers, or anyone else you might think needs to spend some quality time in worship and in Christian fellowship.

In our pick verse today, Jesus utilizes some powerful symbols to encourage the believers in Laodicea to move from their lukewarm spiritual life to one that is passionate and on-fire for the Lord. Jesus’ reference to gold refined in the fire indicates the true spiritual wealth of a believer. The white garments represent the forgiveness of our sins and the true and genuine purity that comes only from Jesus. The eye salve is God’s remedy that restores spiritual sight to those blinded by temptation and sin. These metaphors were very appropriate for a city famous for banking, cloth manufacturing, and the production of eye medicine. If there is any doubt that Jesus knows all about each of us and knows how to present to us the truth of scripture, this verse is proof positive of God’s all-knowing nature.

Blessings
