Thursday – June 1st – Revelation 3:20     -----

3:20) Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THE SINGING OF A HYMN SHOULD BE A CONVERSATION BETWEEN FRIENDS.*

Hello Thursday and hello to the first day of June 2023! Friends in the O’Fallon area it is not to late to join us this evening for our “Partnering With You Parents” group. We are meeting this evening at 6:30pm with guest speaker Paul Knaust. He will be simplifying for us the seeming complexity of the many Medicare options available to seniors. If you are assisting a parent with Medicare, or are moving toward Medicare yourself, this will be very beneficial information for anyone and everyone.

In our pick verse today, Jesus provides some of the greatest reassurance to those who are considering a committed relationship with Him. How comforting it is to know, that no matter our life’s history, Jesus is waiting for us to respond to His invitation. This verse makes it very clear that the final choice of our being in relationship with Jesus comes down to us. I have seen paintings depicting this verse where the artists intentionally do not paint a doorknob on Jesus’ side of the door. Jesus is knocking and speaking, but we must open the door to let him in. For the person who truly repents and lets Jesus into their lives they will experience intimate fellowship with the savior of the world.

Blessings
