Sunday – June 11th – Revelation intro to chapter 4-5:14 -----
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THE BEGINNING OF ANXIETY IS THE END OF FAITH; THE BEGINNING OF TRUE FAITH IS THE END OF ANXIETY.*
Happy and blessed Sunday to you!!! We are back from the SunRise mission trip, and I am excited to share with you all in the coming weeks some of the blessings God delivered to both the residents of eastern Kentucky and the members of our team. My top priority today is worship! We conclude today our nine-week study of “The Incredible Absolutes” of the Christian faith. During this series we have built from the ground up an understanding of the non-negotiables God gives to us so that our lives will stand strong through the storms of life. Today the question we will ask is very simply, what are my life’s goals as a follower of Jesus. Join us today as we have lots to celebrate as a church family.
Chapters four and five lay the foundation for our reading the rest of the book of Revelation. Chapter four describes the adoration of God the Creator, by all the inhabitants of Heaven. Chapter five describes Christ Jesus as the Lamb who by His death and resurrection has accomplished our salvation. Thus, He alone is worthy to open the scroll of destiny for the earth and to share equal praise with God the Father. Because God is the Creator, the Redeemer, and the Sustainer, the future is secure in His hands. What is left to read in this book is how God will close out the ages. And as raptured believers we will be observing from Heaven as these next seventeen chapters bring to conclusion human history as we know it.
Blessings
