5:11) Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
12) saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

Good Wednesday to you! Even though it is almost a holiday weekend coming up, there is no shortage of activities and events at SunRise to place on your calendar. Since Saturday is the first one in the month of July that means the McClure parking lot will be filled from 8am-10am with the sights, sounds, and smells of Cars-N-Coffee. Come and beat the summer heat while you enjoy cars from your childhood and cars that border on the future of transportation.
In our pick verses today, John’s heavenly vision slowly pans out to now take in an ever-growing heavenly choir. Innumerable angels join the living creatures and the elders in offering praise to Jesus. The numbering of the multitude of angels was so great that they could not be counted by John’s vision. Their song of Jesus being worthy may carry a little more familiarity to the contemporary Christian songwriters. Such lyrics remind us that we can do nothing for ourselves when it comes to our salvation, and that Jesus paid the price for our admission into the Kingdom of Heaven. Is it any wonder that God desires us to praise His name and His work on our behalf. When we fully understand this grace upon grace then we simply say yes, and then praise God from the depths of our being.
