5:13) And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"

Welcome to Thursday! Another great SunRise opportunity available to you this weekend is at the Sharing Shed in north O’Fallon. This is a great ministry that assists folks with providing the finishing touches of home to their current house. SunRise has a standing volunteer day on the first Saturday of every month from 9am -11am. As of this writing there are only a couple spots remaining open. The bulk of the work will be sorting and organizing donations and assisting clients pick out furniture and other household items. You can sign-up to serve on either the website or the SunRise app under the events page.
In our pick verse today, John’s vision expands even wider to see the immense gathering that now includes everything under all creation praising God’s name. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the sole receivers of our praise and thanksgiving for what God has done for us. God’s mighty work of salvation through Jesus on the cross was not just for a moment in time but represents God’s plan that is forever and ever without end. Some biblical scholars believe that ‘the sea” represents all of humanity throughout the ages. With the above interpretation this scene would include those who have not given their lives to Christ, even yet from the depths of hell will be required to join in the acknowledgement that God was victorious over the devil.
