Thursday – July 6th – Revelation 6:7-8      -----

6:7) When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living being say, “Come!”
8) I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.

The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
DON’T PLAN ON REPENTING TOMORROW; TODAY MIGHT BE YOUR LAST.*

Good Thursday to you! No greater wisdom is available than the truth contained in the inspirational thought for today. We all are fairly aware that tomorrow, or even the next hour, is not a guaranteed thing. There are way too many “ifs” in life that we can’t or don’t control, no matter who we might be or what position we might hold. Putting off today what can be done tomorrow is not part of the sage of Solomon’s proverbs. The decision to place your eternal future in Heaven into the hands of God is not something anyone should chance on waiting until tomorrow. In one sense tomorrow never comes.

In our pick verses today, John’s vision now takes in the appearance of the fourth horsemen of the apocalypse. This horse was a disturbing pale green with a rider name Death, and its companion was the grave. This pale horse represents the death caused by the prior three scourges. Note that only a fourth of humankind would fall to the devastation of this plague. The limit to only a fourth of the population is yet another indication that these judgements are not the final act of this divine drama, but they will certainly be the signs that precede the end.

Blessings
