In our pick verses today, John’s vision narrows back to the immediate and intimate scene around the throne of God. The angels, elders, and the four living creatures show their complete reverence to God by falling face first at the throne in full worship mode. The seven praises listed in verse twelve – blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, power, and might is their way of expressing the completeness of the praise that is worthy to be offered to the God of creation. How often and how fully are these seven thoughts expressed in your worship today? What does it mean to you to fall face down before the throne of God?
