Monday – July 24th – Revelation 8:3-4 -----
8:3) Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4) And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand.
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
NO ONE EVER REPENTED OF BEING A CHRISTIAN ON HIS OR HER DEATHBED.*
Good Monday to you! Yes, we are starting another new week of fresh possibilities for the Kingdom of Heaven. At SunRise we just completed the first official week of our Fresh Start campaign to pay off the original mortgage on our SunRise building. Our goal is to raise $375,000 over the next year, so we can make our final payment in June 2024. By paying off our mortgage we will be freeing up almost thirteen thousand dollars each month in expenses. Though the first week of the campaign, we have raised 49% of our goal. How exciting!!! If you would like to be part of the SunRise Fresh Start all you have to do is follow this link https://sunrisefamily.org/freshstart. Thanks!!
In our pick verses today, as the seven angels with the seven trumpets position themselves to carry out God’s judgement on the earth, John now describes another angel that appears before the throne of God. This angel is armed with incense to be burnt that combines with the prayers of the saints of Heaven. These prayers may have been lifted before God for the protection of those on earth who are in the process of repenting. The saints could also have been praying for God’s righteous and perfect judgment to prevail upon the earth. Either way, all of Heaven waits in anticipation of God completing the cleansing of the earth and the beginning of what will be the new relationship with God and humanity.
Blessings
