Tuesday – August 29th – Revelation 10:11 -----
10:11) And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
GOD GRANTS WITH EACH BURDEN THE STRENGTH TO BEAR IT—SELDOM MORE, NEVER LESS.*
Welcome to Tuesday! With September being just days away now is the time to begin filling out your SunRise schedule for the fall. On Wednesday September 6th, our Family Ministry team will be hosting their fall ministry kick-off celebration. Join us for a fun evening of “Luau Bingo” where you will have the opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy Hawaiian themed part snacks, and of course win some cool prizes. The fun begins at 6:30pm in the SunRise worship space. Please pre-register at either the SunRise web or app events page.
In our pick verse today, we come to the end of the tenth chapter of John’s revelation concerning end times. Following his ingesting the small scroll he received from the angel straddling both sea and land he is advised to prophesy again the perfect words of God. The prophets of God must be true to their calling because they have a grave responsibility to share the word they have received from God. This was true of the Old Testament prophets, and it was equally true of the New Testament prophets. For John, as an end-time prophet, he will throughout the rest of this book speak about people, kings and kingdoms, and the trials of God’s servants in their witness for Christ.
Blessings
Pastor Jim
Wednesday – August 30th – Revelation 11:1
