Monday – September 11th – Revelation 11:15 -----
11:15) Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THIS IS THE FUNDAMENTAL THING, THE MOST SERIOUS THING OF ALL: THAT WE ARE ALWAYS IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.*
Welcome to Monday! A big week kicks off today for the SunRise community. First, on Wednesday evening the Family Ministry Seeds program starts their fall year at 6:30pm (3 years – 5th grade). Also, the Journey of A Lifetime Bible Study for adults begins at 6:30pm. The fall semester (10 weeks) will cover the overview of the Old Testament books of Judges – Psalms. If interested in either of these groups, please visit the “Events” page on the SunRise App or Website. To better assist parents who want to attend, both Seeds and Journey will be finished at 7:30pm.
In our pick verse today, we resume John’s vision of the world’s fate at the sounding of the trumpets. After the seventh seal had broken, the Judgement Scroll unrolled to describe seven trumpet judgements. After the interlude in chapter ten and the first fourteen verses of chapter eleven, the seventh trumpet has sound and will eventually call up seven bowls filled with various judgements. With the scene now refocused on the throne room of Heaven, two announcements are made for all of Heaven to hear. The first message declares the final transference of Satan’s kingship, into the hands of God. The second message proclaims the eternal rule of the divine kingship of the Lord Jesus Christ over the entire world. His reign will be forever and ever. How these two announcements will be achieved will be detailed in the two dramas that will unfold in chapters 12-14 and 15-16 respectively.
Blessings
