Hello Tuesday! Want to remind you of a great opportunity coming this Thursday evening. Our “Partnering With Your Parents” group will be hosting Meghan Schmitz, senior living specialist with Avalon Park. She will be sharing all the ins and outs and options for seniors as they discern the decision to move from their homes. She will explain the difference between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care facilities. We will be meeting at 6:30pm on Thursday September 21st. In our pick verse today, John’s vision now moves to the birth of the woman’s child. The subject of this verse is easily identified as Christ, the Messiah who will fulfill the prophecy to rule the nations with a rod of iron. This child is under the protection of God along with the entire angelic army. Not only will Satan not be able to defeat Him, but Jesus will lead the war in the final defeat of Satan. The reference to the child being caught up to God indicates both the glory of Jesus’ resurrection and ascension to Heaven. As believers we have the assurance that we stand victorious with Jesus.
