Hello Tuesday! Here is our Tuesday promo for today. October 7th is coming soon and so is our regular first Saturday of the month Cars and Coffee in the McClure parking lot starting at 8am. Typically this is the final gathering for Cars and Coffee at SunRise for the season. If you miss this week you will have to wait until April 2024 for the new season. All types, years, and models of cars are welcome to be displayed. If you just want to walk and observe, wish and dream, stop by and please park in the Twin Chimneys parking lot.
Our pick verse for today captures the response from Heaven to the battle being waged between good and evil. Ultimately the power of Satan was broken, not by Michael and his angels, but by the death and resurrection of Jesus. The Devil and Satan both names which refer to the one who accuses, deceives, or slanders humanity. From this point on, the Kingdom of God is now shown through the power and authority of the resurrected Christ. Because the sins of God’s people are fully forgiven through Jesus, Satan can no longer succeed as their accuser.
