Good Tuesday to you! We are on the final countdown to this year’s SunRise Trunk or Treat on Saturday October 21st from 11am – 1pm in the McClure parking lot. In addition to some great decorated trunks filled with delicious candy to give away, there will be games, face painting, a visit from our local Fire Department, and the always enjoyable Bubble Bus. It is not too late to fix up your trunk and/or to donate to the candy stash. You can do either or both of these by going to the SunRise event page on the app or the website. Join us for a fun filled and perfect weather day here at SunRise.
In our pick verses today, John shares the harsh reality of what his vision reveals about the Antichrist’s agenda. This portion of the great drama ends with one final parody. God’s people have been sealed with a sign of His ownership and His protection from the enemy. In these verses the beast’s people are now marked by the sign of the devil and it is used to identify those who chose to worship him. Many people have a desire to wear some article of clothing or jewelry as a visual symbol of their religious devotion. The mark of the beast welcomes that on an extremely evil and vile level which will include people from all nations, economic, and social positions.
