Wednesday – December 6th – Transition Revelation Chapter 16-17 -----
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
TO KEEP THE FAITH, WE MUST LEARN TO LIVE THE FAITH.*
Hello Wednesday! Attention all folks who have ever considered going on a mission trip but haven’t yet had the opportunity. Maybe you have challenges of getting off work for a whole week, or maybe you are unsure of what exactly happens on a mission trip, or you might question how/where your particular skills could be used to make a difference in other people’s lives. All of these are the same questions, I and every other mission trip person has asked at one time or another. If you would like to hear about an exciting opportunity to explore the basics of a mission trip then you are invited this Sunday at 10:45am to an informational meeting about a weekend-only serving opportunity in the St. Louis area. Bring your questions, bring your thoughts, and of course bring your calendar.
Today I wanted to take a moment to speak about the transition that is occurring between chapters sixteen and seventeen. Yesterday signaled the end of the drama John had been watching since the beginning of chapter fifteen. It also serves as an end to the overall heavenly visionary condition he entered back in chapter four. As chapter seventeen dawns John will return – at least briefly – to his normal earthbound condition in which he will record a vision from events happening “on the ground floor of earth”.
Blessings
Pastor Jim
Thursday – December 7th – Revelation 17:1
