Friday – December 29th – Revelation 18:3 (part 2) ------
18:3) For all the nations have fallen because of the wine of her passionate immorality. The kings of the world have committed adultery with her. Because of her desires for extravagant luxury, the merchants of the world have grown rich.”
The Daily Walk Bible inspirational thought for today:
THOSE WHO LOVE EVIL MAY OPPOSE GOD’S WAYS, BUT THEY CANNOT ESCAPE HIS WRATH.*
Good Friday to you, no not that Good Friday, just the last Friday in 2023. So, if today’s inspirational thought seems very familiar there is a good reason for that. Our inspirational thought today is taken from the Daily Walk Bible reading plan which is in the Book of Revelation. Tomorrow we will achieve an extremely rare syncing of both the Daily Walk Bible reading and the Daily Scripture Blog being in the same chapter of the Bible. The message is crystal clear from both of our readings that God will not let evil go unpunished, it may flourish for a while, but we can be certain that God will eventually punish those who reject His word, His way, His will, and His when.
In our pick verse today, we continue in unpacking this third verse of chapter eighteen. In the second part of this verse the kings of the earth were implicated in Babylon’s fall as being seduced by what she offered in the way of power and prestige. In the last days this will mean that the earth’s leaders will follow the Antichrist Sea Monster and worship him. Throughout the centuries political leaders around the world, more often than not, have blindly followed the “harlot of civilization” assisted by false religion and its corrupted leaders, to enhance both their agendas and their own pleasures.
Blessings
Pastor Jim
